NEB SUD Hub

The NEB SUD Hub – Sustainable Design with wood and bio-based materials Hub is a New European Bauhaus Academy Pioneer Hub promoted by the University of Genoa, the University of Florence, and ART-ER Attractiveness Research Territory.
The NEB SUD Hub stems within the framework of the LIFE BE-WoodEN project – Buildings and Education in Wood Ecosystem for the New European Bauhaus – to contribute to the implementation of the New European Bauhaus principles: environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and aesthetic quality in the construction sector.
The NEB SUD Hub serves as an interregional reference centre for the development of training, research, experimentation, and networking activities focused on the wood value chain and the use of bio-based materials in architecture and construction, promoting skills and best practices oriented toward the ecological, digital, and inclusive transition.
Through training activities, pilot projects, applied research, and communication and dissemination initiatives, NEB SUD Hub fosters dialogue among universities, institutions, professionals, enterprises, and local communities, contributing to the dissemination of sustainable and replicable solutions aligned with the European Green Deal, the European Climate Law, and the Renovation Wave.
