University of Genoa
The University of Genoa (UniGe) is a teaching and research institution organised into 22 Departments, 5 Schools, 13 Inter-University Research Centres and 1 Centre of Excellence. It has a strong participation in EU Programmes, as well as in other important European and international research and cooperation programmes. Since 2000, UniGe has been awarded 464 projects and collaborations through various international funding instruments and is currently involved in 52 ongoing projects. Since 2022, UniGe has been a partner of the New European Bauhaus.
University of Florence
Founded in 1321, the University of Florence (UniFi) is today one of Italy’s leading institutions for higher education and research, with approximately 1,800 academic staff and researchers, 1,600 technical and administrative staff, and more than 1,600 PhD candidates and research fellows. The University is organised into 10 Schools and 21 Departments and is characterised by a strong commitment to internationalisation, scientific cooperation, technological and digital innovation, and sustainable development. In line with its statutory missions, the University of Florence promotes inclusive and innovative teaching and contributes, through research across all fields of knowledge and the application of its results, to social, cultural, and economic development at local, national, and international levels.
ART-ER Attrattività Ricerca Territorio
ART-ER Società Consortile per Azioni (ART-ER) is the Emilia-Romagna Joint Stock Consortium aimed at fostering sustainable growth in the region by developing innovation, knowledge, attractiveness, and internationalisation. ART-ER also coordinates the Emilia-Romagna High Technology Regional Network and has extensive experience in participating in and leading European projects, particularly within the LIFE Programme.
ART-ER is a partner of the New European Bauhaus and works on key themes such as natural capital, circularity, carbon emissions, and environmental performance, developed through European projects and regional demonstrative activities. Within the LIFE BE-WoodEN project, ART-ER leads the WP4 Pilot Action and contributes to the replication and exploitation of project results.
